Ice Age Poutama Styles

Today we looked at Fair testing. We used 3 different types of ice cubes (water, milk and jelly) on a plastic plate and put them in the sun to heat up. We set our timers (OK Google please set the online timer) and observed the different stages of melting.

The children really enjoyed the hands on/HANDS OFF approach to our task.

Team work was very apparent as we watched our children on the courts.

The conversations were interesting to eavesdrop on! Our apologies if you are made to conduct a melting test over the weekend (ha, ha). The object most discussed was the melting powers of chocolate!
